Myth #1: Hot Yoga is only for flexible people.
Truth: The OHY sequence of 26 postures (asana) + 2 breathing exercises (pranayama) is designed for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike—every posture has modifications, and progress comes with practice, not perfection.

Myth #2: The heat is dangerous.
Truth: Practiced in a temperature-controlled environment, at 105°F / 40°C with ~40% humidity), the heat helps muscles safely stretch, improves circulation, and supports detox through sweat. With hydration and pacing, it’s safe for most people.

Myth #3: It's just like an any other workout.
Truth: While it builds strength and endurance, Original Hot Yoga is also a moving meditation—improving focus, discipline, and stress resilience far beyond the mat.
